Volunteers: Important Information on Vulnerable Sector ChecksAt the Carleton Place Minor Hockey Association (CPMHA), we deeply value the dedication and support of our volunteers. Your commitment helps us provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all our young athletes.
As part of our commitment to safety, all volunteers are required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check through the Ontario Provincial Police. This is a crucial step to ensure the well-being of our players.
Steps to Complete Your Vulnerable Sector Check:
-
Contact Your Convenor:
- Before starting the process, reach out to your level Convenor to confirm if you need to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check. They can also provide you with a cover letter if necessary.
-
Visit the CPMHA Website:
- Go to the CPMHA website and navigate to the OPERATIONS tab.
- Click on FORMS, where you will find detailed instructions on how to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check.
Important Reminder:
Due to processing times, it has been taking six to eight weeks to receive the completed forms. We urge all volunteers to start this process as soon as possible to avoid any delays.
Your cooperation and prompt action are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our hockey community.
