New Officiating Intake Process Announced for 2026–27 Season
The Carleton Place Minor Hockey Association (CPMHA) is introducing an updated intake process for new officials for the 2026–27 season.
As part of this change, all applicants will be required to complete both an on-ice assessment and a rule knowledge evaluation as part of the interview process. This enhanced approach is designed to ensure officials are well-prepared and confident in both practical and theoretical aspects of officiating.
CPMHA will be accepting a very limited number of new officials for the upcoming season, with fewer than five positions expected to be available. The exact number of openings will be confirmed at a later date.
Individuals interested in becoming an official are encouraged to complete the application form. The CPMHA Referee-in-Chief (RIC) will follow up with applicants directly.
