Carleton Place Minor Hockey Association Information for Parents

Welcome to another exciting season with the Carleton Place Minor Hockey Association (CPMHA)! We are thrilled to have your child join us. To ensure a smooth and successful registration process, please review the important information below.

Registration Steps

  1. Complete the Registration Form:

    • Visit our Registration tab to learn more.

  2. Respect in Sport for Parents:

    • All parents are required to complete the Respect in Sport for Parents program. This program promotes positive parent behavior and ensures a safe and respectful environment for our players.
    • Access the program is found under Operations/Links.

  3. Read the Communication Model:

    • We believe in clear and effective communication between parents, players, coaches, and the association. Please take the time to read our Communication Model (found under Operations) to understand the protocols and channels for communication.

Financial Assistance

We understand that hockey can be a significant financial commitment. There are several financial assistance programs to help families in need. If you require assistance, please review the options available:

  • KidSport: Provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees and equipment.

  • Jumpstart: Offers funding to ensure that all kids have a chance to participate in organized sports.

 

Important Dates

  • Registration Deadline: Please complete all registration steps by 1 Sept, 2024.
  • Season Start: The hockey season will kick off in early September.
