CPMHA Coaches Kickoff 2026/27

This narrated walkthrough covers everything Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers, Safety Persons and on-ice helpers need for the 2026–27 season: expectations, tools, key contacts and the shared direction for a safe, organized, development-focused and fun season. WHAT'S COVERED

• Season direction: player-first decisions, positive team culture, age-appropriate teaching and one standard for every team, U7 to U21

• A renewed U7 program aligned with Hockey Canada's Timbits U7 and HEO's U7 Player Pathway, with Coach Mentor Bob Jennings as lead instructional coach

• Practice planning: a written plan for every ice time, and access to CPMHA's Ice Hockey Systems (IHS) account

• Attendance and affiliations: Tier 1 expectations, the Tier 2 pilot, and how to handle call-ups correctly (no paperwork, no participation)

• Staff compliance: certifications, police record checks, roster accuracy and the Rule of Two

• Risk, safety and Safe Sport: emergency readiness, concussion return-to-play, and reporting maltreatment, bullying and harassment

CPMHA Team Managers Kickoff 2026/27

This narrated walkthrough covers the systems, procedures, contacts and expectations Team Managers need to keep every team organized, compliant, well communicated and fully supported this season. It's the recorded version of our October 7 Managers meeting, presented in slide-deck order.

WHAT'S COVERED

• The Manager role: what you coordinate, what belongs to the Head Coach, and the first-weeks setup checklist

• TeamLinkt: access, rosters, schedules, availability, notifications, privacy and photo consent

• Rosters, attendance and affiliations: Tier 1 expectations, the Tier 2 pilot and on-ice helpers

• Game day and digital game sheets, including backup game stickers and sign-off

• TTM (Total Team Management): call-up notices, the 15-game skater limit, and suspension reporting within 24 hours

• Ice, schedules, game changes and weather: the game-switch sequence, 72-hour notice and post-December 15 limits
