Tom and Voula Katsoulis launched the Thruway Restaurant in 1977. From its humble beginnings as a diner, which was always popular with truck drivers (location and large parking lot), the Thruway Restaurant has grown into a full-service eatery with a loyal customer following.

Expansions came in 2002 and 2016. Today, Bill, Jimmy and Dean Katsoulis run the restaurant for their mom and dad; however, the couple is always at the eatery. Voula coo...ks, expedites food, serves tables, seats people and supervises. Tom is the head critic, and he is also behind the restaurant’s famous rice pudding and cream pies.
