About CPMHA

The objectives of the CPMHA are to foster, improve and perpetuate the sport of hockey, to encourage sportsmanship and fair play among its minor hockey players, coaches, managers and executive, and to provide equal opportunities for all eligible players within the CPMHA boundaries.

CPMHA is one of seven associations in the Lanark Carleton Minor Hockey League (LCMHL). The LCMHL is made up of house league teams from Almonte/Pakenham, Carleton Place, Osgoode Rideau, Perth/Lanark, Richmond, Stittsville and West Carleton.

These seven associations, along with the competitive teams:

make up District 4 (D4), which is one of 10 districts within Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO).

HEO is the governing body of amatueur hockey within its boundaries. It is one of 13 groups that make up Hockey Canada. Hockey Canada is our ultimate governing body. It oversees the management of programs in Canada at all levels and is the voice of our country within the international Ice Hockey Federation. It also sets out all the overarching rules and regulations for minor hockey, as well as program development.
