I love playing hockey.
It makes me sad that some kids who want to play hockey don’t get because they don’t have enough money.
For my 8th birthday in July I wanted to have a 50/50 Party to help someone who wants to play hockey but can’t afford it. So I asked my friends to give some money as their birthday gift to me. I would use half to spend on something I wanted (I’m saving for an ATV!). The other half would go to the Carleton Place Minor Hockey Association to help someone play hockey this season.
I feel really happy that I donated $150 for someone to play hockey. I hope they love hockey as much as I do!
